Sara Wood Wood is her mother and an actress. She is the daughter of Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood III, an actor. Evan and her brothers have frequently appeared at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father was the founder of the theater and serves as its director of operations.
