Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was born September 7, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a actor in the theatre writer, director, and actor) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother and an actress. She is the daughter of Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood III, an actor. Evan and her brothers have frequently appeared at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father was the founder of the theater and serves as its director of operations. At the age of five, she was screened against Kirsten Dunst for the lead part in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a lengthy audition process. Together with her mother and brother Ira the family moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since the time, she has seen successes in TV series as well as movies on TV and feature films. Younger sister of Ira David Wood IV and Dana Wood. Dancer. She is a lover of dancing and sing, as well as rollblade and horseback ride. She holds a black belt at tae do.
