Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since November 11, 1996. She made her debut in a feature film with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte on Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody started modelling when she was approached. The outcome proved to be an extremely lucrative profession. Doody avoided nude and glamour modeling, which that she incorporated into her acting. If she came to the director's attention for a James Bond film, Doody accepted a minor role on the film A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was named as one the 12 most promising actors of the year in 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody had just turned 18 at the time she was cast in the character of Bond girl. She remains the youngest Bond girl to date. Another early movie was a small part in the role of IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that featured Mickey Rourke. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 version of The Secret Garden. She played Lilias. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, she played Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the 1988 movie Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. In 1991 Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publication fraud, also known as the Hitler Diaries. Doody later moved to Hollywood. Chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokeswoman for L'Oreal She went on to appear alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery his girlfriend and agent. After a long absence from screen Doody was back in the acting world with a small role in 2003's British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an award ceremony scene. in 2004, Doody appeared alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. In 2010 Doody shot a part of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). She was also scheduled to play the lead role in The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. The following year, she was on the show as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria tierra de film award was given to her on November 21 in 2018.
