Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as the lead actor in 'Saturday Night Live'. He then starred in
many big-screen comedies such as Elf,' Anchorman and 'Talladega Nights. Will
Ferrell was born in Irvine in 1967. He started his career in comedy as a member
the Los Angeles-based group The Groundlings. After his highly acclaimed
seven-year stint as a performer on Saturday Night Live, he became one of the
movie industry's most popular comedic performers through off-color movies like
Old School (2003) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was
also co-founder of the video streaming website Funny or Die and enjoyed his
success as a voice actor in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John
William Ferrell, born on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell was
the oldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell as well as teacher
Kay Ferrell. He was according to his own admission, not exactly the class clown
while he was a University High School student. A quiet and solitary person,
Ferrell decided to leave his mark on the field of football which is where he
established a school record for most field goals scored. Ferrell was a more
relaxed person in suburban homes and didn't exhibit the same kind of funny or
outrageous exasperations later on that defined his career. His mother, who was
interviewed by Esquire reported that her son was even-tempered and easygoing.
"You do you know those little Matchbox cars? Will will line up his
Matchbox cars, by himself and be completely content. Then you'd say, "You
want to go to Disneyland today?" and then he'd need to think about it.
Ferrell was not a perfectly straight man however that doesn't mean to say that
he wasn't. When he made the regular announcements using the PA system, a glimpse
into his comedy talents was revealed every day at high school. Ferrell
graduated in 1986 and attended the University of Southern California in Los
Angeles. There he joined Delta Tau fraternity to pursue an education as a
sports journalist.
